Insanity

Description

So...here's somethingI've been planning for a while...and finally did during my family and my vacation in the mountains, which we just got back from. For me, this piece represents the inner conflict with reality and our imagination in our minds, which can drive us to insanity, where nothing makes sense, and dreams become real.

Critiques are requested!

Okay, I can't find much wrong with this piece so I'll start with all the good things. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w…" width="15" height="15" alt=";)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="387" title=";) (Wink)"/>

First off, the colouring. It is absolutly wonderful! The skin tones look so realistic! And so does the skeleton half.
I also really like how you coloured the hair not with just one shade (like I always seem to do XD), but you took the time to do the lighting.

Next, the backround is beautiful! It's effect on the viewers is great! It represents so much more than meets the eye.

Now for some constructive critisism. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w…" width="15" height="15" alt=";)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="387" title=";) (Wink)"/>
The hair. Honestly, I think it looks fine the way it is, but to make it look a bit more realistic, you could try doing strands of hair instead of just colouring it solidly. However, it looks fine this way as well.

And the only other thing that really comes to mind when I look at this is that, with the lightning bolts in the backround, perhaps you could add some reflection on the face(s)?

Overall, this is just fantastic! Brilliant job! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=":D (Big Grin)"/>
By the way, this is only the second critique I've given, so sorry if it stinks.
